IN-HOUSE GUESTS DEPARTING EARLY: Guests who choose to depart early from the hotel will not be billed for the unused nights, with prior notification of check-out to the hotel.
GUESTS SCHEDULED BUT UNABLE TO DEPART: Guests who are unable to depart due to airport closures will be offered distressed rates to be defined and to be paid directly at the
hotel.
GUESTS MOVED TO A SHELTER: Guests who need to be relocated within the same Sandos Resort but as a shelter will not be charged for the days that the event lasts.
GUESTS SCHEDULED BUT UNABLE TO ARRIVE: Guests who are unable to arrive due to cancellation of flights or airport closure but are able to arrive on a later date can choose from
the following options:
Arrive on the first available flights after the storm and take the same number of nights
confirmed at the same rate (based on room availability), or stay until their original
departure dates, being charged only for used nights.Cancel without penalty, with prior confirmation from the hotel.
GUESTS CHOOSING TO RESCHEDULE AT THE SAME RESORT: The hotel will honor the current rates within the same calendar year based on availability. Holiday blackouts will apply.
GUESTS CHOOSING A DIFFERENT SANDOS HOTEL: Guests can choose to enjoy their holiday at another Sandos Resort that is not adversely affected by weather at the time of travel. Whenever possible, these rooms will be protected at the originally confirmed rate, subject to availability and confirmation of the hotel.
This policy will be in effect once the corresponding authorities have issued an official warning for the destination. This policy will always be subject to the confirmation of the hotel per event.
